Back in Barcelona

I'm back after almost 2 weeks of vacation in Stockholm. It has been lovely. Complete relaxation. Been spending time with family and boyfriend, meeting up with friends and enjoying my city!

Been out buying christmas-presents today, unfortunately I cannot show them here... I love buying gifts!  Just have to remember to stop myself sometimes.

Back to life

I have been sick since friday but slowly coming back to life. Finally... Hate being sick. But then..who doesn't.
Boyfriend with cousin-on-visit went to Paris today. I decided to stay here since I still don't feel like 100%... Feels really nice to have some days alone in the flat actually. Going to take out my little jeep for a ride to Diagonal Mar and do some shopping. Want to find some christmas-decorations to my home, realized that I totally missed out on 1st of advent last Sunday! Guess they don't celebrate that here, it's the day you usually (atleast in my family) decorate your home and light the first, out of four, candle (like a countdown to christmas). I really miss the christmas-spirit, there's absolutely none here in Barcelona! Therefore i'm gonna hang a christmas-star in my window tonight to contribute to the Barcelona christmas spirit!

Today I feel inspired. Don't know if it's the beautiful weather outside or simply all the good things in my life... Sometimes when I can't fall asleep at night so many good ideas comes to my mind and that's why I always keep a notebook close to my bed to write it all down. So last night I made a long list with ideas. Fashionshoots, decoration for windows, new business ideas, styling etc. So now it's just to make it all happen!

Who does not wanna be beautiful as Kate?! She is one of my favourites and Im thinking of going blond again because of her..
But...we will see. Eighter way I'll wait until I go to Stockholm and discuss it with my hairdresser!

Today I went to Sephora to buy another nail polish from their own brand. It is by far the best I've ever used. I've had the same polish for almost 2 weeks now!

Also thought I'd share some hairproduct tips. Here are my favourites:

1. Kerastase sunprotection spray

2. Kerastase silicon drops. The best for damaged hair.

3. Volume mousse from Tigi

4. Portion 9 from Sebastian. Treatment and volume.

5. Dust It from Schwarzkopf. Powder that gives amazing volume.

Bonjour Paris!

Sitting here checking tickets to Paris. Going for a weekend in december... Gonna be fun to go outside spain, feel I haven't done that in ages! And I love Paris, not to live though...but for trips. I used to go there so often before, when I was working as a buyer. But then it was just stress, work, stress, work and never time for anything else..but a really fun time!

Gotta go. Meeting up a friend in a little while.

El Japonés de Princesa

One of my favourite restaurants here in Barcelona is Bestial. The other day I discovered yet another great restaurant from the same owners (Grupo Tragaluz) -Komomoto (C/Princesa 35). I can't understand I haven't heard about this restaurant before. It is such a cozy place, full of art and other funny stuff on the walls and the kitchen is open so you can see the chefs cooking. They serve Nikkei, a cuisine invented by the japanese that imigrated to Peru. Ceviche, sushi, tempura, tatakis and more. Good prices too.

I highly recommend it!

Not to forget...

Tomorrow is the release of the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection.

It is the first time they are collaborating with an accessories brand and it includes a men’s collection of shoes, bags and accessories aswell.

I haven't checked yet, but most likely they will have the collection at the H&M Passeig de Gracia.

I'll go have a little look... ;)

Late night at Ikea

Went to Ikea last night. Not because I miss sweden THAT much but cuz we where in need of a carpet. Amazing how many great things you can find for such a good price!

Found this white carpet for only 39 euros.

Nito loves it! Found him sleeping on it this morning (he usually sleeps in our bed)..

A pretty lamp for 35 euros..

                                                                                        

 ...and an orchid flower for 14 euros. The best thing is that these orchids last way longer than the ones you buy in a flower shop, for a third of the price.

The sun is shining today so I'm meeting my boyfriend for lunch in El Born.
